They did indeed do that.

If you buy on the internet without face 2 face you're pretty much screwed ...

All the things you've mentioned however are incredibly trivial and if you're sincerely regretting buying the WW, then I'm pretty sure you'd be sincerely regretting buying a Mantis with flats to fix (not warranty) and poles that break.

But such is life with scooters.

If you dig through my blog you'll find a metric shit ton on these scooters and how to do things yourself, unless you're totally unwilling to do anything yourself.

Best Wishesobakesanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13743339737847465926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1709537690528523236.post-74486074128245724592020-10-09T15:01:05.495+10:002020-10-09T15:01:05.495+10:00The After sales service and warranty exclusions ar...The After sales service and warranty exclusions are poor;
+8 weeks and still awaiting the return of my still unrepaired scooter.
The Aust agents JetSport are not very helpful. (Why would they be, they sell Jet Skis???)
Electrics are apparently only warranted for 6mths....I did not have any literature supporting this when I bought the scooter. Had to get ACC involved.
The IOM that came with the Scooter was out of date, and did not show the correct schematic version of the Scooter. (made it confusing when I first received the unassembled Scooter)
As for the design;
Brakes are poor and squeak and/or make contact with the disc. Simple adjustments are ineffective....you have to remove the brake assembly and strip it down to replace a poorly designed spring.
The collapsible handlebar shaft works itself loose regularly....and if don't re-tighten you may find the handle bars will collapse when riding.
The "showy covers" are of a plastic material with poor locating points, which are not very strong (two small screws / no washers). A branch flipped up from the wheel and hit one of these covers and it broke immediately. (Cost = $25 to replace!!!)
Shame because on the web it looked very promising....now I sincerely regret buying Mercane Wide Wheel (single motor).

I WOULD AVOID THIS BRAND ALTOGETHER.THOMMOnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1709537690528523236.post-49763791628141585032020-08-29T06:11:28.654+10:002020-08-29T06:11:28.654+10:00your images have not appeared

Yesterday I was very up...Seemingly reliable design. Yesterday I was very upset. Broke in the place that looked strongest. Based on the bindings, ready to ride only for driving on paving slabs. For this money, one could buy a much more reliable and sturdy scooter. The scooter was operated on flat Krasnodar roads and was extremely accurate. In operation was only two months! The only thing for which the price tag could be inflated was the appearance. He definitely grabs attention. Fastening connections are extremely unreliable. My weight is 70kg, and it is stated that it can withstand up to 100kg. And in general, in principle, I do not recommend buying. The suspension is not ready to handle small bumps. I attach photographs to illustrate the situation.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03337826491874254839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1709537690528523236.post-46078352568578622692020-05-19T20:40:13.402+10:002020-05-19T20:40:13.402+10:00Thanks for the review. I like how you have considered the situation you are in and the transport needs you have and then sought a reliable and affordable technology solution. I checked Choice.com.au and they have not reviewed this type of transportation yet (although they have done a review on electric bikes). So your above review might well be the best one out there for the Mercane.Chris Tnoreply@blogger.com
