To all my friends and readers an e-Christmas Card:
Cos it ain't half hot here ...
As an aside, in the Northern European places Christmas translates to a word that predates the Christian Ideal Invasion : in Finland its Joulu and in Swedish its Jul.
Looking at the etymology of the word we see:
which makes sense as in the midwinter time all the prepartions for survival would have been completed, the days short and plenty of time stuck inside the house and being frustrated.
So a little play would be good.
Of course in Australia its Summer (and bloody hot) ... so it hardly makes sense here ...
See you next year
