The ancient Christians once used symbols on caves to mark their meeting places or declare themselves (usually a fish symbol), and here in Australia I've observed that Nut Bags are identifying themselves discretely with their own iconography:

While living in US and A years ago, and I also observed such "decoration/badge" on large trucks.
It seems to represent that the owner of the vehicle is telling others that he is compensating for a syndrome of "small appendages" of his own anatomy?
